HOA is too riled up

I live in a gated community. The beautiful fact is that I am fortunate to be able to live in such a nice city. Of course this was in an accident, it’s a planned community so much of the homes resemble each other quite a bit. But, both of us have a golf course and a good club house with a cool swimming pool. There is also something called the homeowners association. I’m personally not so fond of them. While an HOA is perhaps a necessary regulatory mechanism to maintain a certain standard, the overall trade off is not favorable. Keeping the property values from plummeting is honestly the only thing I can see that is any good about the HOA. There truly has to be some sort of regulatory arm to enforce common sense standards and then back off. I just wish it could stop there. The HOA in my community legitimately has been on me about my Heating, Ventilation, and A/C device for the past year at least. Apparently, they don’t love the fact that my condenser device has naturally faded from the sun. I gained a number of letters citing rules that I was supposedly splitting because my condenser wasn’t red enough. I promptly went about my business and ignored them. Then I started getting threatening letters about the terrible Heating, Ventilation, and A/C. So, I acquiesced and put a fresh coat of outdoor paint on the dang condenser cover to get them off my back. But, of course that wasn’t enough. The HOA has decided that the condenser needs to be entirely upgraded. That’s right, a perfectly good Heating, Ventilation, and A/C component must be replaced and upgraded because of a color issue.

I’m not letting go of my AC

Life keeps getting just that much tougher every year if you ask me.

I don’t love to complain because that accomplishes absolutely nothing. It’s just a waste of time and energy. However, the overall assessment is what it is. Money these days just doesn’t seem to go as far as it did the year before. And yet, it feels like there are more things each year that must be paid for. I have multiple young girls in university. So, I have to cut back on things for myself. That’s certainly not the worst case. It doesn’t take all that much for me to get by. I’ve never had an expensive taste for luxury. Instead, I’ve consistently enjoyed value at a bargain price. Cutting out personal stuff so my girls have currency at school is just another piece of itof it. However, I will not be splitting out the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C comfort. After thinking I realized that would be a definite no. There aren’t too multiple things that I draw a firm line on but being comfortable in my lake home is a single of those things. We live in an area that is notorious for sweltering temps almost half of the year. The Heating, Ventilation, and A/C both of us own is already super efficient but it still runs quite a bit during the peak of the heating. I have gone back and installed a smart thermostat to manage the cooling more precisely. The whole new thermostat allows the home to get in the mid-70s during the morning while my wife and I are away at work. However, about an hour and a half before both of us get home, the a/c gets lowered so both of us arrive each evening into a comfortable home. I got to have that. Take anything else from me but leave the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C.

Out with the old

But, I am quite aware that I am Joe talking about a device and not a person.

I am sort of conflicted and I shouldn’t be this time. Our old and most faithful Heating, Ventilation, and A/C device is getting unceremoniously ripped out today. It’s a piece of metal and wires, why do I care about this at all? Like I don’t have enough going on in my life so I beginning to deeply care for inanimate objects. Surely I’m cracking up for good now. Yet, I still have to say there is this sense that our champion heating and cooling device is perhaps getting the most ignominious send off possible. Just impolitely yanked out and tossed into some truck only to be recycled for its parts or what’s left of them. To add insult to injury, a up-to-date heating and cooling device immediately will take its site today. I’m enthusiastic to have a new, efficient Heating, Ventilation, and A/C unit on hand for the house. We took a long time choosing exactly what both of us want. The brand new up-to-date Heating, Ventilation, and A/C is definitely far more technologically advanced and energy-efficient than the old a single. Plus, the savings on the energy bill will be significant. Don’t get me wrong right now, I’m super stoked to have the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C upgrade. however,I just feel love anything that worked that hard for that long ought to get some sort of respectful send off. But, I am quite aware that I am Joe talking about a device and not a person. So, I feel a bit like a conflicted idiot right now. The Heating, Ventilation, and A/C guys that we employ will be here in a few hours to beginning their work. I guess I’m going to take my Pepsi and go pour one out by the old Heating, Ventilation, and A/C unit.

You can spend less on ventilation

Saving currency is right up there with a bunch of other stuff about life.

That perhaps sounds ludicrous but it’s true.

For me there is just nothing love being able to find a good deal whenever I can. I search high and low for the best deals. There was a particular time that I was able to simply buy whatever I needed. The global economy changed and I had to tighten the financial belt a bit. When my supplier finally righted itself bringing in more work, I could not shake the desire to find good deals. I’m the guy that will happily scour the internet to find the best deal on a pair of sunglasses. And, I’ll wait Lowe’s multiple weeks for them to go on deep discount sale. So, the fact that I do my very best best to save on my utility bill all the time should not come as a surprise to anyone. First thing I do is own the thermostat every single day. I task from lake home so I can keep my eye on the temp throughout the morning and afternoon. During the summer time weeks, the temp in my home is just over 77 degrees in the peak heating of the morning. I also attempt to reasonably stop the direct sunshine heating. I have employed some special solar drape panels on all the windows which earn full sunshine throughout the morning. Every little bit counts.

I can hardly go out to fast food joints with my friends or family anymore.

By the time the 5 of us are finished ordering a drink with our junkie little meal, the total comes to love 50 bucks.

This just seems love an incredible waste of hard-earned currency. It’s not love it’s definitely good food that is doing definitely good nutritional stuff for our bodies. It’s burger, fries and a drink! There is simply no inherent value in spending this kind of currency for so little. I find there are plenty of other situations just love this example peppered through my whole entire life. We have been fortunate enough to be able to spend my most recent savings our bills while still being able to put a bit in savings. However, continually paying for what I don’t definitely need does not grow a savings account if you aren’t making enough. I even thought about splitting out the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C professional repair. My thinking was that since the heating and cooling device we own is only a few years old, then maybe it can go without the routine repair. However, I had another guess on that and changed my mind pretty quickly. First, I consistently had seasonal repair on my old Heating, Ventilation, and A/C device and it somehow lasted over 2 decades. Second, there is value in being completely certain that the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C device is kept operating in top condition. Finally, I guess it might void the manufacturer’s warranty on the device if I don’t maintain official professional Heating, Ventilation, and A/C service. I’ll cut budgetary corners elsewhere.

Cleaning up the stinky garage

My garage is nearly beyond help but I need to get started.

It is full of my family’s junk plus every noxious item in our entire jam-packed house.

It all lands in the garage. I guess it started with letting the family car stay outside. Not exactly sure how I got talked into that idea but this has to be where the decline began. Actually, my buddy good called it instantly. He saw that I wasn’t properly parking my car in the garage anymore and told me that I would entirely never be able to park in there again. Of course, I simply laughed that off. Well, who’s laughing now. I am not. I’m sure not. My garage looks love a tornado hit it. There are such massive boxes that I have no idea who’s they are or where they came from. Then after that you factor in all the sports gear mixed in with lawn equipment. It’s pretty hard to simply maintain a path through all this chaos. However, for me what is particularly important is now the garage has just the most toxic and exhausting smell. These days I can hardly breathe in there. I called the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C man from in town to see if he had any clue as to what I could do. He certainly sent a dedicated tech out my way the next morning. And no repair charge! The tech had a good hard look around the garage. He said because there was nothing that had a designated pilot light or emitted any CO2, a ventilation device would do the trick for my problem. It was that straight-forward. I purchased a large exhaust fan and put it in an exterior wall. The smell is way better these days. Now, if I can get any kind of organized.

Love the sun, hate the heat

After spending well over over 50 years enduring 6 month long winters, I’m blissful to say that is all over.

It wasn’t even the cold of Wintertide as much as it was the weeks of no sunshine with only cold temps.

The snow we experienced was consistently nice to watch but that also got old when it eventually turned to slush. No, I moved from the northern climes to a much more warm and sunny region. The sunshine shines love 300 plus days a year where I am nowadays. Now, it does get definitely warm so a good Heating, Ventilation, and A/C device is absolutely a must. However, I adore every moment of sunshine I can get. To that very end, I purchased a little home which had a sunshine room situated just off the back of it. I practically live in my sunroom. It is so warm and nice to be able to watch the birds, the flowers and all the outdoor nature right there in front of me. The winters are mild so the sunshine I experienced is more than sufficient to heat up my sunshine room. However, I still know that for the rest of the year is a bit of a peculiar story. Frankly, the little sunshine room gets so warm for almost half the year that it is hard to be in there. I wanted to change that so I called up my local Heating, Ventilation, and A/C company the other day to see what they might be able to do. They were able to put in a whole new ductless Heating, Ventilation, and A/C device which will heat and cool my cute little sunroom separately from the rest of my home. The results are excellent.

Too many pets for the HVAC

Our family is more than a pet loving group.

It’s straight-forward to be this way considering how happily the both of us live way out in the country.

The family lake home is properly located right in the middle of a 60 acre plot of land. We have a total of zero neighbors that both of us can see from our house. And I have to say both of us love it love that. It’s quiet and both of us can pretty much hang out and do our own thing. One of our favorite things is collecting unwanted pets. It all originally started with a dog and dog here and there. If both of us find an abandoned pet, both of us attempt to find the owner or find it a up-to-date home to live in Forever. However, there are consistently love 20 cats and cats in our dirty little lake home at any a single time. This got kind of crazy at first. The struggling Heating, Ventilation, and A/C device could not turn the air over in Las Vegas fast enough. There was so much pet dander and fur in the air that the poor old Heating, Ventilation, and A/C just wasn’t getting the air flow it needed. The dirty old air filter would just be covered in a week. It became a problem both of us quickly had to address. While I enjoyed having the pets around everyday, it was time for them to have their own spot. We ended up putting up a basement addition onto our home for the cats and other Critters. The Heating, Ventilation, and A/C company both of us use quickly came out to put in an Heating, Ventilation, and A/C plan that was only dedicated to the up-to-date addition alone. We had a mini cut heating and cooling device put in there. The beauty is there are no air ducts. Also, it heats and cools the hole addition separate from the main house.

It does not pay to Skimp on the Heating, Ventilation plus A/C Contractor

I had to wait nearly our whole adult life to build our honestly first home.

  • Homes we’ve owned in the past were all previously owned dwellings.

While the people I was with and I renovated to some degree, it still wasn’t at all the same as having a condo you constantly wanted. Now that retirement has arrived, the people I was with and I are doing that very thing. Well, we’re doing that to a certain degree. Since it’s just our partner, the dogs plus I, the people I was with and I are scaling way back on overall square footage. There is so much money to be saved by doing this. But really, the people I was with and I just want to have a much smaller footprint in general. Less is particularly more now that the people I was with and I are all retired. However, the construction process wasn’t at all straight-forward. The people I was with and I were not at all expecting it to be. The people I was with and I had a structural contractor however all the other subs were picked by us. This was not superb however thankfully the people I was with and I weren’t involved in our careers so the people I was with and I could stay on top of these folks. One of us was on the building locale every day. The Heating, Ventilation plus A/C contractor was a choice that was the highest priority for us. I did our due diligence on nearly every Heating, Ventilation plus A/C contractor within a 100 mile radius before settling on 5 possible choices. Turned out that the first honest guy the people I was with and I interviewed was the choice. This Heating, Ventilation plus A/C pro showed up an hour early. He was clean, organized plus particularly thorough. This guy particularly seemed to listen to what our Heating, Ventilation plus A/C needs were going to be. He asked a few particular questions which impressed us. Finally, he came up with several options for us to choose from. He did not simply try to sell us something that he needed to eliminate. The Heating, Ventilation plus A/C pro particularly wanted to fit the heating plus cooling system to our lifestyles.

The Worst Hotel Stay was Due to Heating, Ventilation plus A/C

I must have rotten luck at just the worst times.

It’s a single thing to have a random disadvantageous thing occur to you.

But when the random bugaboo happens during an already stressful and stakes-are-high moment, it’s just the worst. That’s how things seem to go for me. I live a quiet life enjoy eight eight percent of the time plus then some unusual event happens just when I totally can’t afford such turmoil. I’m lucky to be a self employed person who is fortunate enough to do most of our job from the comforts of our home. I love where I live so I’m honestly glad to be able to do our own thing plus do job that I’m passionate about. However, there are weekly trips that I must go plus do some fierce face to face negotiating. Fierce negotiation is a area of the job that I enjoy the least. So, I’m quite thankful I particularly only have to do it maybe 5 times a year. The worst is that I have to travel to wherever neighborhood the meetings are taking stadium in; This means a hotel stay. Again, I have the worst luck. I can be on the road with our partner, point at an interstate motel plus enjoy the best Heating, Ventilation plus A/C comfort, disinfect room plus yummy free lunch. However, sometimes it seems that every time I stay in a fancy hotel, something poor happens. For our last corporation trip I checked in late to a hotel that was full. The Heating, Ventilation plus A/C in our hotel room would not work. It was midnight, 85 degrees in the room plus I had our first set of meeting at 9 am the next day. I did nothing however sweat plus toss the bed all night. The front desk promised that they would put our belongings in another room before I got back from our meeting filled day.
