HVAC Industry Jobs and Fun Music Nights

I think last night went down as the most fun I’ve ever had playing music on the streets and the biggest crowd we ever drew.

We actually played in the sand right beside the paseo on my favorite beach and at one point had nearly 100 people watching.

I wasn’t counting people but I looked up at one point and just saw a sea of people standing and watching. Most artists playing in the streets have a hat for money but we didn’t ask for money, we simply wanted to play and have fun. The local business near us had a group of people watching too and some were asking me to go on singing more songs. This HVAC rep who sells smart thermostats came by and jammed with us for a little while as he is a guitarist himself. I am considering doing more music and less work at the HVAC company as I love playing music so much and could probably make some good money if I put out the old hat while playing. I am a drummer but am trying to also learn the guitar so I can mix it up a bit and let someone else do the drumming. I work about 20 hours a week for the HVAC contractor during the week but I figure if I busked music on the streets five times a week I could make a few hundred a week doing that and having a lot of fun in the process. It sounds like a strange way to make money but hey it works.
