I enjoy where I live.
- It did take lots of time plus planning to make all of this happen.
Where I live, there are no neighbors for miles around me now. At least there aren’t any human neighbors as I’m right in the middle of a sort of wilderness area. I am able to access my property from a road, but it’s for four wheel drives only. But I like it that way. I was completely done with life inside the zone controlled Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C of an office. Traffic drove myself and others really bonkers. What I was spending on extras every month was just crazy and so I was just ready to leave all of that behind. It took some time to get everything set up, but I finally did it. The result is a really well made 5 room home with an awesome house set on acreage I was able to buy that backs up to some government land. It’s really far out there, so I don’t have access to the electrical grid. That’s okay with me, though, since I do have a solar array that provides me with power and all that I need. Some might think that I don’t have anything, but I do have a pair of ductless heat pumps that keep me cool when it gets too hot out. In the winter I just use a wood stove most of the time but the heating is good to count on for some Heating when I’ve been away plus the fire is out. I live in the woods but that doesn’t mean that I don’t use a good heating and cooling system every now and then.
