This ruled out the need for a zone control system
After dealing with a lot of heating and air conditioning systems in our career as a heating contractor, I have come to identify the best component for our house! My sister who had just moved into the same state came to me with a question I had received most during my job, “which is the best electric heating system for our house? There is honestly no right answer to this question as every property is different and so are the needs of each property owner. My sister’s indoor comfort needs included even temperatures, and an efficient central oil furnace while at the same time, maintaining the utility bills. I visited her condo just to assess the space to determine which whole-condo heating system would suit her. Upon hearing of radiant floor heating, my sister instantly advised to have it as her main unit; One reason was that it did not need any gas furnace/heater tune-up or gas furnace/heater repair during the entire time it served her. The thought of not having to deal with heating specialists made her so happy, but when she heard about the electric heat pump and all its advantages, the fact that it was affordable, and would serve her through all the seasons, she was completely sold on it. Basing the decision on her view of indoor comfort, I shared a couple of energy-saving tips that would maintain the utility bills. A week after installing the unit, my sister confirmed that the oil furnace worked efficiently and there was evenness in the temperature. This ruled out the need for a zone control system. But for the temperature control, the local repair provider suggested that my sister get the digital control unit.
