I’m not letting go of my AC

Life keeps getting just that much tougher every year if you ask me.

I don’t love to complain because that accomplishes absolutely nothing. It’s just a waste of time and energy. However, the overall assessment is what it is. Money these days just doesn’t seem to go as far as it did the year before. And yet, it feels like there are more things each year that must be paid for. I have multiple young girls in university. So, I have to cut back on things for myself. That’s certainly not the worst case. It doesn’t take all that much for me to get by. I’ve never had an expensive taste for luxury. Instead, I’ve consistently enjoyed value at a bargain price. Cutting out personal stuff so my girls have currency at school is just another piece of itof it. However, I will not be splitting out the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C comfort. After thinking I realized that would be a definite no. There aren’t too multiple things that I draw a firm line on but being comfortable in my lake home is a single of those things. We live in an area that is notorious for sweltering temps almost half of the year. The Heating, Ventilation, and A/C both of us own is already super efficient but it still runs quite a bit during the peak of the heating. I have gone back and installed a smart thermostat to manage the cooling more precisely. The whole new thermostat allows the home to get in the mid-70s during the morning while my wife and I are away at work. However, about an hour and a half before both of us get home, the a/c gets lowered so both of us arrive each evening into a comfortable home. I got to have that. Take anything else from me but leave the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C.
