I had been suffering from a virus for a long time. No matter what I did, I could not get rid of it. Finally, after consulting with my doctor, I got some helpful advice. He recommended I sign up at the local fitness center and make use of the steam room or sauna for a little while. He said that I should sweat out the toxins. Going to the fitness center and sweating in the sauna really did make me feel so much better. When I got home afterward, I felt almost a hundred percent again! By the following day, the symptoms were gone! It is really difficult to explain how a session in the sauna at the fitness center improved my health. I’m wondering if this could work for colds and aches and pains. I plan to keep my membership with the fitness center and start using it. I hope to start working out and getting in better shape. They offer all sorts of exercise equipment, from free weights to treadmills. I think that part of my problem is that I’m not active enough. I will use the sauna as a reward after a strenuous workout. I’m hoping to drop some weight, gain some muscle tone and increase my energy levels. I realize that I also need to make changes to my diet as well. As I get older, I need to pay closer attention to all aspects of my health. Joining the gym is the first step in the right direction.
