I’ve never had a personal trainer who genuinely got me fired up about working out
I always encourage my kids to play nicely, to get along with other kids, to be supportive, and to not be afraid of friendly competition. To not make an enemy, but to have someone who can force you to compete. A superb rivalry can benefit both parties, plus push them to heights they would have never been able to reach alone. Recently I found a current little rival. My rival is my personal trainer, he always tries to push my limits and I always try to prove to him that I don’t have any. I have used other personal trainers before, but this is the first one I see some actual progress with. Since you pay the personal trainer, usually they understand who the boss of the relationship is. This guy doesn’t play by those rules, he treats every fitness session as a way to push me to my core. I’m glad he does, because this is what encourages me to go the extra mile and try even harder. The results are amazing, and I am always exercising at a higher level than I thought I could reach. I get so excited about working out now. I’ve never had a personal trainer who genuinely got me fired up about working out. Since exercise is as much mental as it is physical, his ability to motivate me is key.
